From the Playing Field to the Battlefield
As you can see from the photos, Coach Allen has coached some of the greatest athletes coming out of Wichita Kansas, including former Dallas Cowboys running-back Joseph Randle and Detroit Lion Hall of Famer Barry Sanders. In this ministry, the expectation is to turn out more great men who may have began on the playing field of life, but now transfer their learning on the battlefield for the Lord. Coach Allen has spent 40 years coaching youth and high school football and during that time he has come across several hundred young men who have turned into outstanding players and Christian men.
The goal is to continue that trend by using The Lord's Champions to reinforce how God has blessed Coach Allen into using the gift God gave him Coaching, Teaching, Training, and Equipping men for their kingdom purpose they may currently be unaware of. This ministry will allow men to unpack the heavy load they may be carrying around all while praying and asking God for what their role is in the Kingdom and give their best effort to fulfill their role and purpose. We will have to work together as a team to sometimes reach our goals while we sacrifice and pray together asking God to show us the way to success in the kingdom. We are not satisfied with worldly success we want the ultimate success through Christ Jesus the Lord.
We want to Glorify God in the purist form by being Godly men and sharing his richness in whatever way he ordains us to do so. In this ministry we will try to uncover the roadblocks that keep us from being all God wants us to be for his Glory. We do not want to take any shortcuts we want to Coach and Teach, on the battlefield of life, Train and Equip you in the game of life, and it all comes from the book of life. In my TLC book it gives practical lessons to help us work our way up to where God wants us to be as we lay out our game plan for Godly manhood. We must be willing to go all out to reach the level of excellence God expects from us. Come along with us as we take this journey to becoming a Champion for the Lord and help carry the message to other men and women so they can become Champions for the Lord also.
